PLUS, don’t miss Layton Lights in the Park, a FREE Christmas light display put on by Layton City that runs from Thanksgiving time through the holidays.
- Great Salt Lake Shorelands Preserve
The Great Salt Lake Shorelands Preserve is one of Utah’s most unique natural treasures. The preserve’s visitor center is a birdwatcher’s paradise with its front-row seat to some of the largest gatherings of wildlife ever recorded on the Great Salt Lake. The preserve spans 4,400 acres of wetlands and uplands habitat along the eastern edge of the Great Salt Lake.
- Chelsie Meadows Park
Chelsie Meadows Park is a sports lovers retreat & the perfect spot to get in a quick game of soccer, basketball, tennis or sand volleyball. Perfectly situated in the heart of Layton, there’s also two playgrounds for the kiddos and a walking trail to get in some daily movement.
- Grey Hawk Park
Located in northeast Layton in good proximity to Hill Air Force Base, Grey Hawk Park offers 10.2 acres of a pure oasis. With three giant playgrounds, an exercise station, two pickleball courts, a tennis court, basketball court, and a picnic pavilion, it’s a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon enjoying the fresh mountain air.
